My client is a well respected consulting engineering firm with a strong history in the Midwest. Due to an expansion, they are conducting a nation-wide search for an Engineer for their Transmission Line Group. The ideal candidate will have either a BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering and will have experience performing civil and structural engineering tasks associated with route selection, structure design, foundation design, material specifying, construction bid document preparation and design/construction liaison as it relates to the design of high-voltage electrical transmission lines. Duties would also include using state-of-the-art computers and software, writing reports and visiting project sites. Most work would be done in Michigan office. Candidate must be willing to become professionally registered when eligible.
