COST & SCHEDULE ENGINEERS

Needed To Fill Direct-Hire Full-Time Employment Positions With A
Major Oil & Gas Operating Company In Their
Upstream Oil & Gas & LNG Development Company For
Major Capital Projects Facilities Construction Support

LOCATION: Houston, TX
SALARY RANGE: $125,000 - $180,000 Depending on Experience / Seniority

COST & SCHEDULE ENGINEERS

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Assist Area Supervisors in coordinating the cost & schedule/project controls activities within assigned areas
* Assist Area Cost & Schedule Specialist with C&S Technology, operated by others (OBO) Asset Coordinators, Development Planning and other groups as needed to confirm timely completion of required work deliverables associated with assigned projects

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Project Estimate / Schedule review process through project Gates and Check Point Preparation of Check Estimates / Schedules to compare with OBO Operator prepared submittals Ad hoc Estimate / Schedule assessments (verification of project cost & schedule bases)
* Assist Area Advisors with updates of Monthly Project Status Summary Report (PSSR)
* Participate with Area Advisor in capturing cost & schedule lessons learned and best practice
* May assist with Project Controls tools implementation, Company Capital Projects System (EMCAPS) deliverables, ongoing follow-up and assurance in support of the Project Controls SME / follow-up process
* Promote and facilitate effective communication, teamwork, and alignment among Cost & Schedule Development personnel and others

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
* BS in Engineering required; (MBA, MS Engineering Management, or MS Senior professional position preferred)
* Proficient in cost estimating, project planning and project controls
* Strong influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skills
* Adaptability to changing priorities
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to multitask and respond quickly to urgent analysis requests
